I founded Knotty Xpressions in 2014 in an effort to help others become free in their natural hair and loc journey! I wanted others to feel the freedom that I felt when I finally released myself of the discriminatory standards of beauty that society deemed acceptable.
With over 8 years of experience in natural hair, loc'ing, and braiding, I've had the joy of exploring my intense passion for the art! It's more than just hair to me, it's your crown. It's the way you Xpress yourself, it evokes Self Love.
I lead a team of beautiful professionals who have a strong desire to nurture your hair as though it were their own. Our goal is to help you beautifully express yourself through your hair alone. If we have done that, then we have mastered our art!

MEET JYRESHA

Since the age of 12 Jyresha has had an undeniable desire to do hair. In middle school, she would study her mother's intricate braiding techniques and assist her in braiding her client's hair. As time progressed, Jyresha mastered her braiding skills and soon began taking on clients of her own.
As a graduate of the Knotty Xpressions Apprenticeship program, Jyresha is eager to provide you with amazing service, as she implements Knotty Xpressions' top tier values while nurturing your tresses!
